Santa Maria, Ca. - Santa Maria, California-based writer, Allan Amenta, first place, Golden Brad winner of the 2007 Movie Script Short Contest (http://www.moviescriptcontest.com) has won a number of prominent screenwriting contests this year.  With two first place wins in 2007, and a first place win already in 2008, for a variety of his short scripts, “Charlie Malloy’s Golden Key”, “Dial H for Happiness”, “Unholy Encounter”, “The Do-Nothing Owl of Christmas Hill”, Allan has tallied up an impressive 5 first place wins in a number of major screenwriting contests.

A true Renaissance man, Allan Amenta writes award winning stories in a wide range of topics covering a number of genres, comedy, drama and more.  From a young man with a golden secret who attends his own 30-year high school reunion, to a young girl who speaks to an “imaginary friend” over a toy telephone while her parents argue; Allan’s stories are vivid, imaginative and perfectly crafted. Allan Amenta is also a professional songwriter (words and music) with a number of songs under contract to publishers. He has also written and produced numerous films and videos for education, medical and corporate worlds.
