Imagetek purchased by Nina Knight and private investors

April 14, 2008 - PRLog -- DALLAS – Imagetek Office Systems, LP has been acquired by local industry veteran, Nina Knight, and private investors.

Imagetek, founded in 1993, is an Arlington, Texas-based, full service document solutions company supporting more than 3,000 clients in North Texas and nationwide. Reggie Garner, one of the original founders, who has run the company as Imagetek since March 2000, will stay on with the company as part of the executive team.

“We’ve been approached many times by potential buyers and have never been interested,” said Garner. “It was Nina Knight’s involvement that made it a go. It was having competed against her for years and knowing her track record for running and growing quality, customer service-oriented companies that made this the smart thing to do. Knight has spent the last 20 years building and running leading-edge business technology companies. Most notably, she built and ran Denitech in Dallas and then Denitech Fort Worth from 1990 to 2005, providing the most formidable service in the industry.

“I think there is a distinct unfilled niche in the DFW market,” said Knight. “There are publicly held giants and smaller independents. There is a big void for a strong, customer-centered company that can deliver superior service and major account support, but yet is small enough to maneuver fast with local decision making. I have a strong respect for Reggie Garner and we both share the same business philosophy regarding customer service. I know that working together we can be the premier document solutions provider in Tarrant County and all of North Texas. All operations and decision making will be made right here in DFW.”
