Executive Changes Underway at Maryland Technology Firm

NSCA Technology and Tra-Cal Lab are positioning business for growth
 
April 14, 2008 - PRLog -- Gaithersburg, MD,  November 8, 2007 -  NSCA Technology and Tra-Cal Lab today announced
executive changes to position the Gaithersburg firm for near-term and long-term growth.  Founder Neal Chaikin announced the promotion of Todd Chaikin to the role of President over the two operating
businesses.  Todd Chaikin has been serving as General Manager of the Tra-Cal Lab organization since its establishment in 2000.  “Todd has taken the Tra-Cal business from an idea to a powerful component of the company.  He is visionary, and understands the need of our customers”, commented Neal.  Todd Chaikin (37) holds an MBA from Johns Hopkins University, and has been employed by NSCA/Tra-Cal since 1992.

Todd Chaikin also announced the addition of Bill Howden to the firm, serving as Vice President.  Todd expressed that “Bill brings a deep background in telecommunications and test equipment.  He will be an enabler to accelerate the growth of our businesses.”  Howden joined Hughes Network Systems (formerly M/A-COM DCC) in 1979, and served in engineering and program management roles until 1987.  Howden then joined JDSU (formerly TTC/Acterna) for 20 years, where he most recently served as Vice President & General Manager of JDSU’s Global Services business.  Howden (49) holds an MS degree from the Whiting School of Engineering at Johns Hopkins University.

Todd Chaikin added that “Bill and I will be driving new strategies, making investments, hiring key people, and aggressively growing our product and services lines to serve the emerging needs of our customers.  These moves provide us a new executive framework, position us for corporate growth, and will allow us to take our business to the next level.  We look forward to our new roles and the synergy that is developing.”
