Colorado continued it's e85 pricing dominance with he best reported E85 price in the Nation of $1.99 at the Western Convenience Station in Fort Collins on March 2. The top 30 Prices came out of Colorado , all in the $1.99 to $2.19 range . Most of those from the Western Convenience chain of stations across the State.  Colorado more importantly also lead the Nation with the best average price spread of 24.7% .

The Midwest certainly wasnt left out as the Hy Vee station in Rochester Minnesota with a State best e85 price of $2.28. The Family Express in Chesterton Indiana had E85 at a very respectable $2.32 , 29% less than unleaded on March 14th.

Non Competitive E85 Price States for the Month of March:

There were a number of States that continue to be unable to pass the minimum price spread of 15% or more needed to make E85 competitive to gasoline based on mpgs.

The States of Utah , Texas ,Michigan , Tennessee specifically seemed to be having issues with being able to bring E85 to the marketplace at a competitive price spread.

http://E85Prices.com April E85 Price Forecast: E85 prices are expected to rise 10-15 cents per gallon as the artificial mandated demand created for ethanol as an additive (e10) (99% of ethanol production) instead of as an alternative fuel like E85 (1% of ethanol production) continue to add pressure on corn prices via the speculation of that commodity. Expect the National average price spreads 15%-20% range.
