Economic Secrets Of Mega-resorts Revealed From Best Buy Award Winning Master Teacher.

Dr. Charles S. Herrera receives $10,000.00 Best Buy Teach Award. The award is based on integrating Interactive Technology into the Curricula.

March 25, 2008 - PRLog -- Dr. Herrera's Senior Economic classes were given a Billion Dollar Investment for a
Mega-Resort Project. Students were placed into Teams called Corporations and had to design a Billion Dollar Mega-Resort.  Student had to design a Physical Model of the Mega-Resort, a PowerPoint Presentation and Commerical for the Mega-Resort..  Each team was given a technology rubric and were to use the latest computer and software technology in creating their Mega-Resort.  Students used the highly sophisticated Classroom Performance System to rate the different Mega-Resorts.  The top Mega-Resort concluded the competition with an exhibition in the Library.  Dr. Herrera used his extensive knowledge of Mega-Resorts gathered from Las Vegas, Nevada Mega-Resorts to Walt Disney theme Parks.  His application of economics and technology to create an original product was rewarded by the Best Buy Corporation.
