Eco-friendly solution to everyday dining with children

March 19, 2008 - PRLog -- For parents who want to take a more eco-friendly approach to everyday dining with their children or an alternative to mass marketed party supplies, Petit Tableau offers a whimsical array of solutions. Their inaugural collection features two reversible tablecloth and matching single sides napkin sets made of 100% cotton.  The “Table Basics” set includes a 34 x 44 inch rectangular tablecloth (fits most small-medium kids tables) and four (4) napkins. “Party of 8” is for larger sized tables (45 x 55) and includes eight (8) napkins: perfect for a larger family, birthday party or other special occasions.  There is also an “A la Carte” option, six (6) napkins in matching and contrasting colors, perfect for everyday use, lunch boxes and throwing in the diaper bag for dining out with the kids.

The sets are handmade, machine washable and can be used outdoors for everyday trips to the park, beach or picnics. Pricing ranges from $10-48.00.

About Petit Tableau

Petit Tableau was started in Chicago by Serena Beltz, a mother of two who wanted an alternative and a more eco-friendly alternative to the mass marketed paper and plastic party ware for her younger son’s 1st birthday party. The solution was to make her own tablecloth and napkins and use small inexpensive glassware and china plates. The idea followed through to the goody bags and included a napkin for each guest (in an age appropriate fabric pattern) to take home. For more information, visit www.petit-tableau.com.
