Kool Roomz Chosen By "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" to Help Create a Unique Nursery

March 17, 2008 - PRLog -- Kool Roomz is excited to announce its partnership with ABC's hit television show "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition", to help an exceptional family in Silver Springs, Nevada.

Steve Boettcher is a motorcyle riding, dedicated minister, who along with his wife Mary, run a community center for teens out of their small 2 car garage. They provide a place where teens can go for help and to stay out of trouble. Once a week they provide hot meals to 30-40 kids, funded from their own money. In addition to reaching out to the kids in their town, Steve & Mary also help their daughter Stephanie and her 18 month old son Joshua. Since the birth of Joshua, Stephanie has been unable to work or go to school as he requires around the clock care. He was born with a series of medical conditions of which require the use of oxygen and an other medical devices. All four members of the Boettcher family have been living in a small, run down 1972 single wide mobile home.

In the upcoming episode airing March 16, 2007 at 8 pm on ABC, the Boettcher's existing home and garage will be turned to rubble and in its place will be built a new 2700 sq foot home and a 1200 sq foot community center for their teen ministry. Kool Roomz assisted the "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" team in creating a room for Joshua all his own by providing them with crib bedding and room accessories. "We are thrilled to have had the opportunity to help create a fun, safe and healthy room for the Boettcher's grandson to live in," said Danielle McLaughlin, owner of Kool Roomz.
