mDigger for iPhone and iPod Touch now supports podcasts

mDigger, a free service providing dynamic web clips from favorite sites and Internet sources for mobile devices, now provides iPhone and iPod Touch users with support for podcasts and podcast subscriptions.

March 14, 2008 - PRLog -- mDigger, Inc. is pleased to announce that its web application for the iPhone and iPod Touch located at http://iphone.mdigger.net now supports podcasts.  Users may subscribe to their favorite podcast feeds and have them automatically updated on their dashboard to listen to and share with others.

mDigger lets users choose dynamic web clippings or mClips from an online catalog containing thousands of different Internet sources and websites, and use them to create their own personal information space accessible from all of their mobile devices and computers.

It combines the best features of web clipping services, content aggregators, information sharing tools and RSS readers into one unique product tailored for mobile device users. The service is free, and iPhone and iPod Touch users may simply point their browser to http://iphone.mdigger.net and tap on create new account to get started.

mDigger can create dynamic web clips from any podcast feed. Users simply go to the website that contains the podcast feed they want to subscribe to and look for icons to identify the desired podcast feed.  They may then click on the icon to open the feed and copy the URL from the address bar of their Safari browser. To add the podcast feed to their Dashboard, users simply choose Add RSS from mDigger’s main menu.

mDigger for iPhone and iPod Touch is specifically designed for small touch screen devices, permits fast access to key information and content, eliminates the need to navigate from site to site, is more efficient than regular web browsing with Safari, and lets users share mClips and their content with friends.

Apple's iPhone and iPod Touch are the latest additions to mDigger's long list of supported devices, which include PDA's, smartphones, Tablet PC's, UMPC's, as well as regular desktop and laptop computers. Users may download an on-device version of mDigger for any of these devices at http://www.mdigger.com  .

iPhone, iTouch and Safari are trademarks of their respective owners, with no implied endorsement from Apple, Inc.
