March 3, 2008 - PRLog -- When Arthur Julius, founder of Nice-Pak Products, Inc., invented the Wet Nap® in 1958, it was more than the beginning of one new business. The Wet Nap launched today’s multi-billion dollar pre-moistened wipe industry as the first saturated paper product specifically designed for transport and ease of use.
In 1962, a meeting between Julius, his son Robert and “Colonel” Harlan Sanders, changed the foodservice industry forever.  Sanders, whose Kentucky Fried Chicken® recipe was gaining popularity across the country, used the words, “Finger Lickin’ Good” as his marketing slogan. The Julius family agreed, but suggested that Sanders’ patrons clean up with a pre-moistened wipe after licking their fingers.  Loving the idea, the Colonel placed an order that very day, and KFC® became the nation’s first Wet Nap customer.  Soon afterwards, thousands of restaurants around the world began offering their customers a Wet Nap for quick clean-ups after messy meals.  
Fast forward to 2008: Today, Nice-Pak® continues to pioneer wet wipe products to meet the needs of restaurants, healthcare professionals and consumers around the world.  While the company positioned the Wet Nap as the ideal clean-up solution after dining, now they are educating consumers about the importance of cleaning one’s hands before eating.

This is an important function that rub-in alcohol hand washes alone cannot achieve.  The product also contains emollients, including aloe, glycerin and Vitamin E, to help prevent hands from drying as a result of frequent usage.  Sani-Hands has been tested for usage of up to 25 times in a 2-hour period and found to not cause dermal irritation.
