HomeLand Gets Saudi Arabia’s MOI Project

HomeLand Technology Sdn Bhd (“HomeLand”) has received a $400,000 contract for Digital Colour UVSS (Under Vehicle Screening System) and Arabic License Plate Capturing System to be installed at the Ministry of Interior, Saudi Arabia.
 
Feb. 24, 2008 - PRLog -- HomeLand Technology Sdn Bhd (“HomeLand”) has received a $400,000 contract for Digital Colour UVSS (Under Vehicle Screening System) and Arabic License Plate Capturing System to be installed at the Ministry of Interior, Saudi Arabia.

“Winning this project is a success milestone for HomeLand Technology Sdn Bhd and we are excited about the potential of this project which will ultimately become the mirror model for all other UVSS projects in the Kingdom”, said HomeLand’s director, Vincent Lau.

The HomeLand Digital Colour UVSS is specially designed to inspect the undercarriage of vehicles by presenting a clear image on the operator monitor screen. It exposes the complete undercarriage view of vehicles for easy identification of hidden explosive devices, suspicious objects, contraband which include drug and personnel.

The project is expected to be completed by end of the second quarter 2008.

HomeLand Technology was set up by a group of engineers, each having over 10 years of experiences in security industry. Combining their experiences, research and development capabilities to meet the market requirement, HomeLand has successfully launched the UVSS (Under Vehicle Screening System) and FRB (Foldable Road Blocker) in 2005.
