James Dicks visits Marine Corps Base Quantico to deliver Operation Financial Freedom Briefing

Feb. 19, 2008 - PRLog -- James Dicks, President/CEO of PremiereTec Solutions LLC, was invited to U.S. Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia to address the military on the importance of developing proper habits of handling their personal finances.  Dicks, author of the best selling book Operation Financial Freedom, was greeted to Quantico by  Sgt. Major Mark T. Brokaw.

Prior to his financial presentation, Sgt. Major Brokaw toured Dicks around the base and visited a number of areas of interest including Quantico’s Weapons Training Battalion.  This organization is where the M14 Designated Marksman (DMR) precision grade 7.62mm rifle is custom built. Its accuracy provides units much greater operational survivability and the rifle has an effective range of 770 meters, nearly a half mile.
Dicks was also invited to visit the Martial Arts Center of Excellence (MACE), which is the home of the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP).  The MCMAP is designed to put a “sharper edge” on the Marines’ ability to fight hand-to-hand.  All 173,000 active-duty Marines and 58,000 reservists—everybody from the commandant down to the newest recruit, male and female alike—are required to receive the MCMAP training.
Finally, Dicks addressed Marines assigned to Quantico about Operation Financial Freedom and shared methods of how to positively develop their personal financial habits.  Dicks said after the briefing, “I am so impressed with the number of Marines who attended the session.  This tells me that they are indeed interested in learning more about how they can create and expand a financial plan that will assist them in their future.  They had some great questions and I am positive that every Marine in attendance now has the basic understanding of making what they have today work for them more effectively in the future.”

Sgt Major Brokaw said, “The feedback I have received from Mr. Dicks’ presentation has been outstanding.  The Marines truly enjoyed the briefing and I know the Marines in attendance learned a lot from the success stories Mr. Dicks related to the audience.  Many of the Marines stated that he really inspired them and they wish they had met James Dicks years ago.  He’s the ‘Real McCoy!’”
