Maggie Lump Joins Pet Med Spa and Rehabilitation Center

Pet Med Spa and Rehabilitation Center is pleased to welcome Maggie Lump to its veterinary support team. Maggie will perform rehabilitation and massage therapy on companion animals with a specialized focus on pain management.
 
Feb. 16, 2008 - PRLog -- Pet Med Spa and Rehabilitation Center is pleased to welcome Maggie Lump to its veterinary support team. Maggie will perform rehabilitation and massage therapy on companion animals with a specialized focus on pain management.

As a registered veterinary technician for seven years, Maggie has considerable experience in all facets of veterinary medicine, including emergency and critical care. Maggie has received instruction in animal massage through the PetMassage program of Toledo, OH, and will begin her certification in canine rehabilitation through the University of Tennessee-Knoxville this spring.

Maggie is an advocate for disaster preparedness, and has given several presentations on the subject.  She is an Authorized Pet First Aid Instructor, and member of Veterinary Medical Assistance Team 2.  The American Veterinary Medical Association with their “Certificate of Outstanding Achievement” has recognized Maggie’s contributions to the Hurricane Katrina relief effort.

Maggie is a member of the Indiana Veterinary Technician Association, National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America, International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management, Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society, and International Association of Animal Massage and Bodywork.
