The Chocolate Lovers Travel Club Heads Over to Europe with Author, Clay Gordon July 16-27, 2008

The Amazing Trail to the World's Finest Chocolate tour will personally introduce CLTC members to world renowned chocolatiers throughout Switzerland, France and Belgium. Special meals and lessons await CLTC in some of the most famous chocolate salons.
 
Feb. 11, 2008 - PRLog -- Clay Gordon, author of Discover Chocolate, has obtained "insider access" into several "bean to bar" chocolate factories and kitchens of Europe.  This world-class tour will follow the delivery of his speech at Felchlin Chocolate in Switzerland, during their 100th anniversary celebration.

Clay recently founded The New World Chocolate Society as a broader platform for consumer education. He is consistent with his mission of elevating awareness and appreciation of fine chocolate.  

He has also been featured in articles on chocolate in The Wall Street Journal, People Magazine, and The New York Times' Dining In section, among other national and regional publications, and has appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show and ESPN2's morning show Cold Pizza.

Clay recently appeared on NPR’S Diane Rehm show and is a regular guest on Martha Stewart’s Living Show on Sirius Satellite Radio.  

Members will learn to prepare their own chocolate truffles and attend a myriad of chocolate tastings.  Clay also demonstrates the compatibility of chocolates with various wines, meats and cheeses.  

Participants on the Amazing Trail tour will have ample time to do some optional activities & shopping in Lucerne, Lyon, Paris, & Brugge on their own or with an English-speaking guide.  The tour features 4 and 5 star accommodations, meals & transportation at double and single occupancy  rates.
