Winterville’s first SUBWAY® Restaurant to host grand opening celebration

Jan. 16, 2008 - PRLog -- WINTERVILLE, N.C. — Winterville residents now have a quick, healthy food choice right in their own backyard. SUBWAY® recently opened its first location in the growing community, and owners Eva and Dalton Buck are hosting a family-friendly grand opening celebration on Saturday, Feb. 2 to mark the occasion.

The event will take place at the new location at 4810 Old Tar Road in the Winter Village Shopping Center. Doors will open at 10 a.m. with a ceremonial ribbon cutting. Debbie Avery, executive director of the Winterville Chamber of Commerce, will be on hand to help cut the ribbon.

From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., all Winterville residents are invited to join in the festivities. A special meal deal will be offered to all customers: buy one six-inch sub sandwich and get a second six-inch sub sandwich of equal or lesser value for free with the purchase of a 21-ounce beverage.

Subman will entertain children, and giveaways will take place throughout the day. Customers will receive a number that will be added to a drawing for SUBWAY® cash cards and cash prizes of $5 to $20, as well as SUBWAY® merchandise and other items.

Customers do not have to be present to win. Unclaimed winning numbers will be posted within the store, and winners will need to present their winning number to store staff to claim their prize.

The Bucks, first-time SUBWAY® franchisees, are excited to join the Winterville community.

The husband and wife team hopes to develop additional new stores in surrounding areas within six months. Their Winter Village Shopping Center SUBWAY® Restaurant, which officially opened in December 2007, will serve lunch and dinner Monday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and will feature an inviting Tuscany décor.
