The Duprees

The Duprees are known the world over for their romantic interpretations of some of the most beautiful love songs ever written. They have made a career out of giving new life to old hits. If you take the Glenn Miller arrangements of the 1940's along with the tunes of Joni James, Frank Sinatra, Jo Stafford, Nat King Cole, (just to name a few) and put them together, you have the sound of The Duprees. 1962 You Belong To Me ,1962 My Own True Love , 1963 Gone With The Wind , 1963 Take Me As I Am , 1963 Why Don't You Believe Me ,1963 Have You Heard, 1963 Love Eyes, 1964 Where Are You, 1964 It Isn't Fair, 1965 I'm Yours, 1966 Let Them Talk, 1967 I Understand, 1969 Two Different Worlds.

The Classics received much acclaim for their CD entitled "Intimate Reflections," in which they weave their way through such beautiful standards as "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me," "All Of A Sudden My Heart Sings," "I'll Be Seeing You," "Night," "Again," and "Somewhere." Their latest CD entitled "Gold Dust” includes their biggest hits, "Till Then," "P.S. I Love You” and “You’ll Never Know," along with such show-stoppers as "Cara Mia," "Stardust," "You Don't Have To Say You Love Me," and "America" Each of these songs is performed in the Classics' own unique style, with beautiful vocals and orchestrations. The foundation of The Classics sound is the outstanding lead voice of Emil Stucchio, which can be heard on every Classics recording. The excellent vocal harmonies of Al Contrera and Teresa McClean complete the circle of style, blend and class that we know as The Classics. They were recently honored with a citation from Brooklyn's Borough President for their contribution to the musical growth of New York. Over the years, their popularity has continued to grow, as indicated by a recent New York radio poll at in which the Classics came in at number 6 out of 500 recording artists. With over 40 years of entertainment experience, the sound of a full orchestra and their exceptional vocal abilities, The Classics continue to receive rave reviews from audiences, producers and their fellow artists
