Dec. 19, 2007 - PRLog -- All UD TRUCKS will comply with the new Reduced Idling Emission regulation that will be implemented on January 1, 2008, which requires equipping an idle stop device, or affixing the label as defined in subsection 35.B.4 of the "California Exhaust Emission Standards and Test Procedure for 2004”, on the cab if the vehicle's gaseous emissions comply with the 2004 standards.

In lieu of the engine shutdown system, UD TRUCK engines have been certified to meet the stricter NOx idling emission standard of 30 grams per hour.
