The Amish style is characterized by simplicity with the fine details being in the craftsmanship. The Barn Furniture Mart carries fine Amish styled furniture produced in small family shops scattered throughout America’s heartland. The construction is dictated by tradition as each piece of lumber is cut, shaped, sanded and stained by trained craftsmen who’s keen eyes catch and eliminate any imperfections in the solid oak and other select hardwoods used in their pieces. These skilled craftsmen that bring out the natural beauty in the lumber they use, sign their work, just as any master artist would.

The popular Simply Amish collection is constructed with sturdy, solid White Oak and select hardwoods. Known as being hard and strong, White Oak provides outstanding wear-resistance. It is also quarter sawn for a unique aesthetic appeal. All of our Amish units are constructed using dovetail joints. Drawers will never lose their shape and glide on self-lubricating rollers so that they run smoothly after much use.
