Sanofi-aventis officially opened its first Asian pharmaceutical development centre in Goa, India on December 3rd. The investment represents the company’s single largest in India to date.
 
Dec. 13, 2007 - PRLog -- Sanofi-aventis officially opened its first Asian pharmaceutical development centre in Goa, India on December 3rd.  The investment represents the company’s single largest in India to date.
 
The 2,600 sq m Goa development centre will focus on analytical studies and formulation development, with the capacity to develop up to 12 drugs per year.  Located close to Sanofi-aventis’s manufacturing facility in Goa, it will play a pivotal role in allowing the group to introduce new, drugs rapidly both in Asia Pacific and the global marketplace, the company said.
