Our Vision is to create a worldwide faith network of Catholics who are linked together in a spirit of mutual support and friendship. MyCatholicVillage is more than just an ordinary social networking site. It is the premier resource for Catholics to grow in their faith through Christ centered friendships with other Catholics.

Life
Our members are essential to the unfolding of our Vision. They play an important part each day in developing a global Catholic Village. Our members get involved in our community by connecting with friends and making new ones, blogging, and participating in groups.

Community
Our goal is to have communities of Catholics from all over the globe on our site. MyCatholicVillage provides the link that truly connects the Body of Christ together. This Body is made up of many members, and so we invite and encourage Catholics of all vocational status to join us (single, married, religious, and priests).

Our goal is to provide a safe, clean environment for all of our members. We avoid the presence of offensive material and content that plagues many secular websites. In order to ensure that it remains clean, we provide all of our members with the ability to report questionable material for removal from the site should this ever occur.

Our site is faithful to the teachings of the Catholic Church, as handed down to us through the Apostles. Our members are given the freedom to express themselves and their faith with others. It is our goal that the dialog that takes place on MyCatholicVillage will be a source of mutual evangelization and support through friend based relationships.
