Nov. 27, 2007 - PRLog -- As poverty and war run rampant throughout the world, many are beginning to step back and evaluate the way governments of the world run and see that it’s not working. But, what can be done to change it? Can anything be done to change it?

In the new romantic science fiction novel StarChild, author Jim Styles explores that very question and finds that the world would be better off with the power in the hands of females while males stay home and take on the role of homemaker.

StarChild is the first positive portrayal of a completely matriarchal and Christian society. Not only is this society completely run by the hand of woman, but it is technologically superior and involved in interstellar exploration. The civilization is able to achieve everything that patriarchal societies have achieved, but surpassed what they were able to accomplish.

“The matriarchal system in its most authentic form is a much more beneficial system to that which we know today as well as see that—far from being anti-female—Christianity in its truest, original Biblical form is quite compatible with a more female-oriented, female administered culture and society,” explains Styles.

“It is the only science-fiction romance novel in which the women are the explorers, exploring deep space, while the men stay at home taking care of their families, raising their children: The entire crew aboard StarChild is female.”

Styles takes this controversial subject and weaves in a story of love, female empowerment and an example of the way an ideal government should be ran. StarChild is a powerful example of how good the world can be if people take a step back and reevaluate the way things are run today.
