For five generations, Edaville USA’s Holiday Festival of Lights has been a premier holiday attraction for New Englanders.  Visitors climb aboard the heated narrow gauge train and enjoy a scenic two mile train ride (the perfect distance for those with young children) through seven million twinkling holiday lights.  From kiddie rides and vintage amusement rides to the museum with antique cars, locomotives and cranberry harvesting equipment to the indoor play area and Cranberry World, there’s something for the kid in everyone at Edaville USA.

According to Brenda Johnson, co -owner of Edaville USA, “We like to give Carver residents the first peak at our Holiday Festival of Lights during Carver Days.  Attendance keeps growing and this year we anticipate more than 180,000 to come through our gates during the holiday season.”

Edaville USA’s Holiday Festival of Lights runs from November 9-11, 16-18, 23-30, 2007; December 1-31, 2007 (closed Christmas day) and January 1, 2008.

Edaville USA is located just off Route 58 in South Carver, MA (less than one hour from Boston and Providence).  There is ample free parking and Edaville USA is accessible to the handicapped.  Admission is $16 and includes unlimited train rides, unlimited amusement rides, Ellis’ Playhouse and all attractions. Free admission for children under two years old.  For group rates or more information, visit www.Edaville.com or contact (508) 866-8190 or toll-free (877) EDAVILLE.

Edaville USA – A New England Tradition
Owned and operated by Brenda Johnson and Robert Julian since 2003, Edaville USA has undergone many exciting changes over the years, including the reconfiguration of the entire rail course and the incorporation of vintage amusement rides such as an antique carousel and an illuminated Ferris wheel.  The family friendly park also offers a museum with antique cars, locomotives and cranberry harvesting equipment, as well as an indoor play area and Cranberry World, located in the Cran Central Junction building.

Fireworks are held every Friday night from November 30th to December 28th.  Other attractions throughout the year include “Day Out With Thomas” a family event centered on the Thomas the Tank Engine classic storybook; daylight trips through brilliant seasonal foliage and the harvest of the cranberry crop in the Fall and late afternoon and evening rides through the Holiday Festival of Lights in the winter.

Season passes are available for $45 per person and allow folks to attend Edaville USA anytime during the year.
