Haunted Houses, Ghosts, and Demons - Exorcist Who Can Set The Captives Free!

Oct. 31, 2007 - PRLog -- Of course the media sensationalizes anything and everything.  Yet there is validity to haunted houses, ghosts, and demons. Worldwide minister Paul F. Davis says: "As an exorcist I have dealt with demonic possessed and oppressed people throughout the world. It's not a pretty sight to behold, but you cannot conquer evil unless you know who you are in Christ and are bold!"

Davis has a series of videos from around the world on his Dream-Maker Ministries website which display the supernatural power of God. While in France, Paul encountered a gentleman who was bound by false doctrine and crippled by religiosity. As Paul began praying for him, the man began speaking crazily. Paul immediately entered into spiritual warfare and wrestled a bit with the man physically until getting him to get on his knees and pray a prayer of repentance for deliverance.

Paul says: "Transformation comes through mind renewal, not merely and only demon removal (Romans 12:1-2).  Demons gain access to a person by reason of their disobedience to God and opening a door through their willful sin and rebellion.  Other types of demonic oppression and possession may come as a result of hurts and wounds.  For instance when a child is molested by a pervert who has demonic influences operating, that spirit can get on the child. Cruel and unkind words from a parent can also adversely effect a child's self-esteem and weigh heavily on their soul, opening a door for a lying spirit to further torment and belittle them."

The good news is all demon power can be broken easily in the Name of Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit (see Luke 10:17-21; Matthew 12:28).

As a demon can inhabit a human body, so too can they inhabit a house or residence.  Since the Bible calls our bodies the temple to the Holy Spirit and building of God (1 Corinthians 3:9) it is no wonder than why demons can both inhabit physical bodies and homes. Jesus said when a house is cleaned, the demons who have been kicked out will return to see if they can take up occupancy again. Therefore if we don't fill our hearts and minds with God's Word and thoughts, we too can be open to Satanic attack and infiltration.

Paul says, "People seek out haunted houses because they are interested in the supernatural. They like the thrill of the unknown. What they need to know however is God Himself is most supernatural, powerful, and awesome - able to accommodate and satisfy your spiritual hunger.  Though your church may be boring, God certainly is not.  Though your church may be spooked by and resist the miraculous, God daily moves miraculously in the lives of whosoever welcomes and allows Him to do so."

As for global travel, Paul has been to over 50 countries and 6 continents dealing with demonic power throughout the globe. Among Paul's most memorable and fun exorcists, Paul recalls:

- I have cast out devils in India where a woman fell to the ground and slithered and writhed like a snake until I cast the demon out of her.

- I cast a demon out of a man in his 20s in Sydney, Australia during communion when he had come forward for prayer. It was an unexpected occurrence but I swiftly dealt with it.

- I cast a demon out of a man in Jakarta, Indonesia who had come forward to give his life to Jesus, but before he did so the other spirit inhabiting him came out with coughing and spitting before the greater Holy Spirit came to live in him.

- I cast a demon out of a woman in Guyana who was bound and afflicted, tormented and shaking her head frantically while I commanded the demon to go in Jesus mighty Name!

- That same week of meetings in Guyana, another young lady was so heavily bound I could not help her, as she required additional attention. So I had the church just worship Jesus who alone can set the captives free. As we did the Holy Spirt touched the young lady, she had a vision of Jesus, and regained her right mind. The congregation erupted with jubilee as Jesus set this lady free! In her right mind her countenance began to glow and truly she was a new woman!

These are to be daily occurrences in the life of a Christian who Jesus said would have "these signs" following them as they lived wholeheartedly for heaven (Mark 16:15-20).  "I cannot expect any less than the supernatural in my everyday life," Paul says. "I have seen too much to be satisfied with dead religion or anything less than God's living power that changes lives."
