Teen Actress Alexandra Rose Rieger Launches Blog Site to Highlight Important Charitable Events

Oct. 18, 2007 - PRLog -- Alexandra Rose Rieger, is a teen Actress from "Akeelah and the Bee" and "Charlie Wilson's War" is also a Youth Ambassador (see: http://www.iapw.org/newsItem.asp?p=4701) who has just returned from a Multi-City Tour to Africa and Europe to promote Poverty Alleviation and Global Literacy.  Now Rieger is supporting these causes through her newest book and hit single release, entitled 'HARMONY.'  Proceeds from the purchase will benefit charities supporting youth world-wide.

Of central importance to Alexandra is to support other like-mnided individuals and organizations who exemplify the practice of "Giving Back."

One such celebrity who is making headlines is famed fashion designer to the stars, Kevan Hall (http://news.sawf.org/Designers/43760.aspx).  He just released his Spring Collection 2008 entitled: "A Call To Action." Kevan Hall will feature his new designs at this year's LA Fashion Show, sponsored by Mercedes Benz. The LA Fashion Show to be held at Smashbox Studios take place on October 14th- October 20th 2007 in Culver City.

Kevan Hall has created gift bags, worth $13,000 to be auctioned off. Proceeds of which will benefit: African Millennium Foundation. In addition, ten of the same gift bags will be delivered to a range of Hollywood leading ladies including Charlize Theron, Renee Zellweger, Felicity Huffman and Debra Messing.

Some of the celebrities to be present at the fashion show are: Vanessa Williams, Jessica Colins, Alexandra Rose Rieger, Eric La Salle, Jimmy Jean-Louis, Rebecca DeMornay and Jennifer Beals.

Alexandra is the Youth Ambassador for 'In A Perfect World.' Rieger is also a Youth Ambassador for ‘In A Perfect World.
