MemphisRap.com Relaunches With A New Look

According to the founder, Hosea Mays, Jr., also known as M Town and M Town Luv, this was a decision that had been weighing out for some time and was based on a number of factors.

When asked about the risks involved when selecting to take a different approach with the website, he commented that it was much needed. "With any business you have to know your audience and target them specifically by their needs and wants," stated Mr. Mays. "With a monthly audience of more than 500,000 to 1 million users and over 75% of them returning, something we're doing must be right. That's the whole process of running a business; being dedicated at what you do and knowing your boundaries."

With the new website, users can expect a new sleek user profile with a number of great features, including the ability to submit news under the new "Your News" Channel, manage forums, create their own blog with a custom logo, a customized "My Page" which can contain news feeds, bookmarked favorites of Memphisrap.com content and more, as well as manage running ad campaigns, submitting business listings and reviews to the new Memphis Metro City Guide and much more.

"The Memphis Metro City Guide is not only a guide to restaurants, bars & clubs, and city attractions in the Memphis Metro area, but outside the area as well. Plus, its a guide to current movies and upcoming movie listings, movie reviews by professional critics and movie-goers themselves. Not to mention, users will be able to give their thoughts and opinions on places they go out to eat and party at, so that information will be very valuable to others. I felt we needed that and it's what our users wanted," stated Mr. Mays.

In addition to the new user features, the site still contains original content, but now with a number of new contributing freelance writers, journalists and businesses who will be providing news and columns under a number of subjects.
