Author Depicts American Journalism In The 20th Century

Sept. 27, 2007 - PRLog -- Swedish author Charlie Lindgren has  depicted the journlistic world in a barrage  of mad exaggerations, based on what he was  "heniously forced to endure" as a  journalist.

Mr. Lindgren in his young age of 21 has  already worked as a translater for a major  swedish book publishing company (Bonniers) in between jobs at magazines, where he says  he bit by bit gathered pieces for his book,  "High-pitched & Gimped in the American  Heart" which is being published by  Lulu.com.

Charlie Lindgren's main character is what  has baffled many; the weary 50+ has-been  who leaves few traces of a young man having  written him. Justin Christensen comments:  "With a new generation of travellers and  seekers out there, Mr. Lindgren has  captured the essence of an old man  desperately trying to to cling on to the  belief of the greener pasture actually  existing."

Starting the book in the summer of 2002  when he took a trip to a resort in  Bulgaria, he could see a conclusion closing  in around the winter of 2006, having  written only small parts at a time in  between jobs.
