Aug. 30, 2007 - PRLog -- Richmond Hill, ON --- Rising consumer interest and general acceptance of electronic rust prevention modules as solid science is replacing traditional type rust prevention sprays for many car owners.

The Defender-Plus Corrosion Module is a patended electronic device that can be installed in a new or used vehicle for the specific purpose of helping to prevent rust.  The popular Defender-Plus Module uses singular, alternating current technology that has been proven to be up to 99.7% effective in reducing corrosion, during independent, rigorously controlled scientific experiments conducted by leading scientists from world class laboratories.

In truth, the rust prevention market is very healthy as more and more people are looking for ways to protect their investment.  Defender-Plus is in a particularly strong position because it is not only ecologically friendly, which is very important to everyone, but it also represents the leading edge of technology and the ultimate in proven protection.  It’s great for protecting your vehicle and is harmless to the environment, a genuine no brainer.

Knowledgeable consumers are moving away from chemical treatments and choosing the electronic protection for a variety of reasons:

**  Defender-Plus is not applied to the paint surface.  It is a process, not a coating.
**  Defender-Plus is harmless to the environment.
**  Defender-Plus can protect parts of the vehicle that traditional sprays cannot, i.e. the roof
**  Defender-Plus can be easily transfered to another vehicle, unlike coatings.

How the Defender-Plus Electronic Corrosion Module works:
The Defender-Plus is installed under the hood of the vehicle and works by drawing a small amount of DC energy from the vehicle’s battery and directing it through a microprocessor which converts this energy into an AC surface current.  A carefully-designed, high frequency, battery-driven oscillator is connected to a grounded body panel on the vehicle to be protected, with the induced current being uniformly distributed over the entire surface.

Using new technology, the Defender-Plus is different from others:
Unlike other electronic systems on the market, the Defender-Plus is not a cathodic protection system.  This is because no electrolyte return path is required between the site being protected and an anode, and also because cathodic systems must work with direct current (DC).  The Defender-Plus employs a pulsing, high frequency, alternating surface current (AC) unique to it’s technology.  The test results are conclusive.  The Defender-Plus technology was shown to be over 99% effective in reducing corrosion.

The Defender-Plus is a terrific and very affordable product that will help protect the value of every vehicle it’s installed on - because it protects against rust where others won’t, plain and simple.
