Volleyball has become the second largest sport in the world (second only to soccer)! Junior volleyball has exploded in Indiana as well due to the overall growth of collegiate women’s sports programs, the success of USA Volleyball National teams, and a recent push for competitive athletic programs for young women. Club volleyball players are not all college bound, however, college recruiters frequently attend club tournaments due to their ability to see several recruits in one day, instead of simply one player at a high school match. Most middle school and high school volleyball teams request that their players play on a club team in the off season as well. The caliber of athletes who play club volleyball varies from the beginner to the highly trained.

Magnum Force Volleyball Club began as an extension of a youth recreational volleyball program. The athletes involved in the recreational league asked us for more competition and better quality coaching. There were a limited number of affordable, quality clubs in the area.  Magnum Force VBC was developed to fill this void. Magnum Force believes that all youth who want to play competitively, should be able to play competitively.  Three skill level leagues will be offered by Magnum Force: Club Program (for competitive athletes who wish to “step up” their game); Intermediate Program (for athletes who are not quite ready for the intensity of club volleyball); and Camps/Clinics for the beginner or those seeking help with specific skills. Our goal is to provide a program that develops young athletes to their highest ability level.

Mission –

   Magnum Force Volleyball Club strives to be a premier provider of development activities for young athletes in the State of Indiana. MFVBC shall provide athletes an opportunity to:

•   Develop fundamental skills in their selected sport
•   Develop leadership skills & self-confidence both on & off the court
•   Challenge themselves physically, mentally, and emotionally
•   Learn important life lessons such as teamwork, leadership, self-confidence, integrity, responsibility, and personal ethics
•   Develop a passion for fitness & sport

Magnum Force Responsibilities –

   Magnum Force VBC aims to consistently provide:

•   Quality Coaching. All MFVBC head coaches will be trained under the United States Volleyball Association’s (USAV) IMPACT certification program. Our program is designed to ensure that all athletes are provided with quality instruction in a positive environment.
•   Commitment & Integrity. MFVBC is committed to our athletes. We want to see progress in each athlete, and are committed to working with each athlete to make this happen. Honesty, professional responsibility, and respect will be at the forefront of all coaching.
•   Opportunities for High Level Competition. Through our Club Program, athletes will compete with some of the area’s most competitive volleyball teams. High intensity competition is vital to the development of young players.
•   FUN. This is the most important component of our program. Recent studies have shown that 75% of children “drop out” of organized sports by the age of 15 – often, they report that they stopped competing because they were not having fun. We strive to make our playing environment educational and fun, so that our athletes will learn a love for the sport, no matter what their playing level.
