Aug. 23, 2007 - PRLog -- MORRISVILLE, N.C. — MSA: The Think Agency, a full-service, integrated marketing communications firm and part of Think Partnership’s  Advertising division, has promoted two employees and hired an additional staff member to service SUBWAY® Restaurants. Sheila Matthews and Linda Wente have been promoted to account executive and account manager respectively. In addition, Maria Torruella has been hired as an assistant account executive.

“These staff changes will benefit the 29 markets MSA serves,” said Lewis Finch, president of Think Advertising. “We will provide faster turnaround on projects and informational requests, more individualized assistance for franchisees and markets, and greater consistency across the board.”

In her new position, Matthews will manage all marketing and advertising initiatives for 12 SUBWAY® markets in four Southeastern states. She will also be responsible for maintaining a consistent brand message across those markets and will work in tandem with other SUBWAY® entities to create a unified alliance. Matthews has held multiple positions with the SUBWAY® account at MSA.

As the new SUBWAY® account manager, Wente will oversee daily operations of the SUBWAY® Central department, which include managing a staff of four; handling promotional reimbursements; managing and routing creative, print production and media requests; and developing instructional materials. Previous to this position, Wente served as a SUBWAY® account coordinator.

Torruella was hired as assistant account executive with SUBWAY® Central. Several years working in the financial industry helped Torruella hone her ability to meet multiple deadlines. This skill will serve her well as she assists in managing markets in three states, ensuring project deadlines are met, scheduling meetings, and fielding requests for sponsorships, donations and fundraisers.

MSA serves more than 2,600 SUBWAY® restaurants along the East Coast and in the Southeast, in eight states and Washington, D.C. In order to provide optimum customer service, MSA developed the unique SUBWAY® Central concept. Account executives divide and service the regional markets, while an extensive support team simultaneously facilitates operations on a market-wide basis and attends to individual franchisees.
