James Dicks, meets with the Master Chief Petty Officer of the Coast Guard (MCPOCG), Charles W. Bowen

Aug. 16, 2007 - PRLog -- ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, FL – August 3, 2007 –James Dicks, President/CEO of PremiereTrade® LLC, met with the Master Chief Petty Officer of the Coast Guard, the highest ranking enlisted member of the Coast Guard, Charles W. Bowen.
Dicks actually employs two Coast Guardsmen; one “Coastie” is currently on active duty in Virginia and the other is in the Coast Guard Reserves.  Dicks also wanted to personally thank the hierarchy of the Coast Guard in Washington DC for their sponsorship which led to his selection to the Secretary of Defenses’ program, the Joint Civilian Orientation Conference (JCOC), which Dicks participated in earlier this year.  

After his meeting with Master Chief Bowen, Dicks said, “I am so impressed with the mission and determination of the Coast Guard and what they are doing for this nation as a military branch in some very hazardous locations around the world, as well as an integral part of the Homeland Security Department.  The nation needs to remember the sacrifices of these brave men and women and I personally thank the Coast Guard’s unwavering and dedicated duty to the United States.”  

While in the Middle East with the JCOC, Dicks was invited to visit the Coast Guard station in Bahrain.  He toured the facility at the invitation of the Commodore in the region and saw first hand how the Coast Guard forces handle various wartime tactics.

During his recent trip to the nation’s capitol, Dicks also met with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Peter Pace, the Sergeant Major of the Army, and the Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps.
