The gala will be in celebration of the above mentioned groundbreaking event.

Dr. Elaine Valdov; Secretary General of the United Nations Youth Assembly, a project of The Friendship Ambassadors Foundation, has stated that “There are 500 Youth Representatives from 192 countries participating in The United Nations 4th Annual Youth Assembly, which is taking place at the United Nations from August 8th to 18th ”. The goal of the assembly is the advancement of the Development of Global Partnerships to eradicate racism, poverty and conflict, while promoting Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women. This event addresses youth leadership, world politics, the Hip-Hop industry as well as career development. The Youth Assembly encourages social entrepreneurship connecting the best and brightest leaders with opportunities for service, jobs, and careers in fulfillment of the United Nations Eight Millennium Development Goals.

“After a full week of workshops, conferences and other activities, we thought it necessary to provide our international guests with a Celebrity packed New York experience for their final night of fellowship before returning to their respective countries. Supporting
the goals and aspirations of young people is what the 4th Annual Youth Assembly is all about, so we felt that it would be fitting to give them a send off party at one of the hottest clubs in N.Y. that would further motivate them to become productive leaders in their country" ended Charles Fisher, Founder and Chairman, Hip-Hop Summit Youth Council.

“Additionally, through this party we will be able to recognize these kids for a job well done and give them some final words of wisdom that will help them promote the United
Nations Millennium Development Goals through the Hip-Hop MDG campaign and establish Hip- Hop Summit Youth Council Chapters in the 192 countries they represent" concludes Randy Fisher, Executive Director, Hip-Hop Summit Youth Council.

Title Sponsor/Kevin Rivers, CEO of “Fashion Army” states “When my company learned that the United Nations had brought in 500 youth from across the world, we knew immediately that this was a no-brainer and we wanted to be involved”.

Hakim Taylor co-founder of “The Game Room” (the company brought in to promote this event) states that “This event is the perfect opportunity for youth from around the globe and the United States to interact & learn about other cultures in a relaxed atmosphere.”

“It’s all about giving back for me so when I was approached to donate my club to this worthwhile cause I did not hesitate to be a part of an event that would help towards the growth and development of our future world leaders”,  ended Damien Brown, co-owner, Fusion 215.

With the combination of the Hosting by the “Hop-Hop Summit Youth Council”; the title sponsorship of the “Fashion Army”; co-sponsorships of: “Jjesses of Kreative Monsters Films”, “KJR Sales” and “SPAR of Hood Estate LLC”; the donation of the facility by “Damien Brown”; and promotion by “The Game Room”, we are looking forward to an aware, intelligent and thoughtful crowd to bid adieu to these future world leaders.

While this evening event promises a fun-filled night, the Assembly has been serious business. The 4th Annual Youth Assembly goals are to work on initiatives to address the United Nations 8 Millennium Development Goals, which are to: 1) Eradicate extreme poverty and hunger; 2) Achieve universal primary education; 3) Promote gender equality and empower women; 4) Promote youth empowerment and activism; 5) Reduce child mortality and improve maternal health; 6) Combat HIV/AIDS, malaria and other diseases; 7) Ensure environmental sustainability; and to 8) Develop a global partnership for development.
