July 26, 2007 - PRLog -- – Clovis, NM – July 27, 2007 – Blazing a whole new type of instrumental rock, Sansietch has proved it’s time for the bar to be moved up.  A virtuoso hailing from the Southwest. After over an hour with this guy, you’ll think he’s Billy The Kid come back alive. And why not, the artist lives not far from his famous tombstone. His Blues Farm record label has been a one man show for some time now. Off The Cuff costs just $11.00, and it may come with a dose of artistry as groundbreaking as any yet.

The CD has 17 songs, and each one is brilliant. An over-the-top instrumental outing for Sansietch, the legendary guitarist from New Mexico. On his last release, Fields Of Glory, he fed us a healthy diet of acoustic music steeped in rock, country, blues and jazz. On Off The Cuff, the artist has once again done everything. He writes the material, arranges it, performs and records it, and produces the entire work by himself. But the labels stop there. His lead work is recognizable signature, and once you hear is, you’ll know it’s him everytime.

With an extensive online precense, the best thing about Sansietch is he has a new website, loaded with tidbits for fans, and devoted to hard rock enthusiasts. You can sample most of the new songs.

This is one of the best things about independent artists. You can sample and download loads of info. There’s even a Street Team program at http://www.freewebs.com/staffiliatesinfo that pays fans for buying and selling CDs.

The latest CD is again issued by Sansietch’s own record label, Blues Farm. http://www.bluesfarm.webs.com. The album is available, July 28, 2007

There is no title track, but the title, and the play on the album cover, all become clear. This is the “letting loose” of a real guitarist. The unvailing of a rare breed of musician.  It’s difficult to understand what must happen for an artist to instantly create. There’s a subconscious realm to many of Sansietch’s melodies. On Ricochet the ease with which the artist draws out melodies…don’t forget, Sansietch writes and plays each track on the song in one improvisational take.

Sansietch fans will rejoice once again to hear the artist lashing out on Playing My Hand, and the amazing wallowing on the bluesy Shape Of Sorrow. Since Sansietch, a name derived from both the French language, and a Science Fiction language, mean without a place of refuge in times of trouble, it does make one wonder if this outlaw musician has finally found his niche in rock n roll forever.
