When I set out to write the album {Only Guitar}, my intention was to create a work of beauty demonstrating the versatility of the nylon-stringed guitar. The album itself is a sort of experiment in genre blending. I’ve had influences in so many styles of music and I really wanted to capture as much of that as I could on Only Guitar. At the forefront you’ll hear mostly classical and flamenco style guitar, but you’ll also be able to hear some more contemporary and blues influence as well. As an independent artist, I try not to get too caught up in traditional styles. My only concern is to create music that is relaxing and beautiful. I hope you enjoy.  - Eric Patton
