Women Presidents' Organization Announces Financial Literacy Event

May 29, 2007 - PRLog -- NEW YORK – The Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO), Sam’s Club and WPO member Sharon Lechter, co-author of Rich Dad Poor Dad, will encourage financial literacy by hosting a Cash Flow for Girls event on June 5 at 3 p.m. at 13 Sam’s Club locations in North America.   The event will teach young girls financial literacy by playing the game CASHFLOW For Kids developed by the Rich Dad Company.  The game was created to teach key principles of savings, finance and money management in a fun and non-intimidating way that fosters learning by repetition and re-enforcement.  Each girl will receive a game in return for a promise to teach 10 other girls how to play the game.  Participants will also receive a copy of ‘Rich Dad Poor Dad for Teens’ and ‘Rich Dad Poor Dad.'  
The event will take place in the following cities:

The WPO is a nonprofit membership organization for a diverse group of women presidents who have guided their businesses to at least $2 million in gross annual sales or $1 million for a service-based business.  With over 1,000 members and 70 chapters located throughout the nation and in Canada, the WPO has experienced rapid growth since its inception.  Local WPO chapters are coordinated by a professional facilitator and meet monthly to share business expertise and experience in a confidential and collaborative setting. This year is the organization’s 10th Anniversary.
