What in the World is VoIP?

VoIP is not exactly new anymore, however, the applications for it are evolving rapidly. VoIP has revolutionized communications on the internet! The hard part to fathom is it is free and requires no technical expertise to install or use!

May 16, 2007 - PRLog -- VoIP stands for Voice Over Internet Protocol. With VoIP we can talk to other users through our computers, using a variety of applications. The two main ones that we use in internet marketing are Skype and the Vereconference web conferencing system.

With Skype, which is free to download and use, as long as we are calling computer to computer (and not to phone), we can talk to anyone in the world for free.  (there is an option to dial phone and it costs money, and not sure why anyone would prefer to do this)...

All we need  to Skype is an inexpensive computer headset or microphone and speakers. We can talk to one person, 3 people or even 10+ people on an internet conference call.

The premier VoIP application, the Vereconference web conferencing system, is absolutely amazing in its functionality.

As Vereconference is 100% web based, we only need to download a tiny, free voice client and to have an inexpensive computer headset and speakers and we are in business.

The Vereconference moderator or presenter can upload files from their computer into the room in a few seconds, and display them for all the participants. These files can be PowerPoint presentations, graphics, photographs or plain text files. Websites and code can be displayed.

All Vereconference participants can record the sessions, both audio and visually with one click, and save it to their hard drive. We can even play music, all with crystal clear sound.

My favorite thing in my Vereconference room is the white board where everyone can use the highlighter, the pointer, and create text or graphics.

So you can probably see how the Vereconference web conferencing system is perfect for online meetings. The uses for Vereconference are many. It lends itself perfectly to training, planning, sales presentations, customer service, and even clubs.

Why pay for a teleconference or conference call?  For that matter, why spend a fortune for people to travel for national (or international) meetings, when for pennies a day we can use Vereconference?

Vereconference virtual conference rooms, that seat from 3 to 500+ people, start for as little as $12 a month! Yes, that's $12 measly dollars! There are no contracts beyond month-to-month.

Take your business, no matter how small or large, into the 21st century with the brillance of VoIP and the Vereconference web conferencing system!
