Had a lousy day? SianAh.com wants to know what's bothering you.

With sites like twitter.com and digg, what are people going to think up of next? This duo from Singapore and Malaysia has answered the call with an "angry" twist. They want people to talk about their frustrations and be heard by others.

May 16, 2007 - PRLog -- SianAh.com, a web-based community for people to talk about their frustrations, has recently launched.  SianAh.com lets people answer the often-asked question “What is bothering you today?” and vote for posts they enjoy.  The founders of SianAh.com, Alex Choo and Tiong-Hong Siah believes that SianAh.com acts as a niche outlet for people to voice their grouses and find empathy and advice.

Choo and Siah started SianAh.com as a hobby. "We were watching some people complain abt their lives, and wondered if this universal past-time could be translated into something on the web," said Choo.

"It took us about 10 hours of work to get the whole site up and running, thanks to open source software," added Siah.

Noting that people like to give advice, Choo and Siah believe that SianAh.com can become a self-help community.  To ensure that conversations do not become overly emotional, Siah said "We intend to take down any post that is inflammatory. We don't think it's healthy for the community."

SianAh.com runs off the Pligg content management system, Lighttpd web server and MySQL database.
