-- The Salem Kripalu Yoga Studio, 401 Main St., Suite 206 Salem, NH announces it's affiliation with the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health of Lenox, Massachusetts. The affiliation between the two yoga centers give each center a larger population of yoga enthusiasts. This close relationship will benefit the Salem Center by giving their students access to world renowned yoga teachers and the Salem teachers to great instructions and workshops.
While grounded in yoga, it is important to understand that Kripalu does not espouse a narrow or sectarian mindset. According to the Kripalu tradition, yoga is an honest and unfettered inquiry into all practices, philosophies, techniques, and approaches that produce thriving for individuals, families, communities, societies, and the planet. This “non-denominational yoga” includes perennial wisdom gleaned from all the world’s religions and spiritual traditions, together with the amazing knowledge gained from science, psychology, and contemporary researchers. It also includes healing techniques drawn from traditional, allopathic, and complementary/
alternative medicine that help individuals heal and return to high levels of functioning.
The Salem Kripalu Yoga Studio staff of yoga teachers has over 25 years experience teaching yoga and even more time practicing Kripalu and other styles of Yoga. The current owners, Bob Gibbs and Cheryl Conway, both have owned the studio for almost 7 years and look forward to many more years of teaching students of Yoga.
