PRLog -- DUBAI, United Arab Emirates – 18 March 2007 – Motorola has named Globalnet its 2006 ‘Distributor of the Year Award’ winner for the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey region.
“Globalnet registered a commendable performance in terms of sales growth in 2006 and it played a significant role for the brand in making strong gains in terms of market share in the region,” said Patrick Mulligan, Vice President, Motorola Mobile Devices, MENAT region.
Globalnet won several accolades in the past which includes ‘Business Development Award’ in 2002, ‘Distributor of the year Award for High sales Growth’ in 2004 and Motorola’s ‘Best Overall Distributor Award’ for 2005.
“Keeping in pace with the changes in the telecom market place we took several strategic initiatives in the past year - this had augmented well for us.
