Company Adds Another Accolade to a Long List of Successes

Feb. 20, 2007 - PRLog -- Marysville, OH – February 20, 2007 -- UniKeep LLC, manufacturers and marketers of innovative, patented and environmentally friendly binders, media storage and marketing mailers, received an E.I.C. award from the Southwest Central Ohio Procurement Technical Assistance Center (SWCO PTAC).  E.I.C. stands for Educate, Inspire and Collaborate.  The award was created to honor PTAC clients who have shown exceptional efforts to educate themselves and others, inspire others with their drive and ambition, and collaborate with others to build a strong network.

Threatt, Director of SWCO PTAC.  There are 1,300 active clients and three awards were given this year.  An award to recognize and reward efforts of companies beyond securing government contracts was given to each outstanding company from each of SWCO PTAC’s primary regions:  Cincinnati, Columbus and Dayton. The awards were presented in Wilmington, OH on February 1, 2007.

UniKeep’s notable accomplishments in winning the award are: top 20% rating with Open Ratings, acquiring six (6) U.S. patents, Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year and SBA National Business Person of the Year.  Judges for this year’s competition were Frank Svet, President and CEO of EMTEC; Robert Shinkle, VP of Administration and Government at EMTEC; and Georgeta Nistor, EMTEC Controller.

The Southwest Central Ohio Procurement Technical Assistance Center (SWCO PTAC) is a full-service, non-profit resource center for government procurement. The mission of the SWCO PTAC is to assist businesses in southwest central Ohio cut through the red tape and frustrations in obtaining federal, state and local government contracts. SWCO PTAC offers procurement technical assistance and training workshops to meet the needs of small, minority, and women business owners.
