Dec. 29, 2006 - PRLog -- ARLINGTON, TEXAS - Kysor Panel Systems designs, manufactures and services insulated panel systems for the food retail, hospitality, healthcare and environmental industries. A company with 60 years of industry experience, Kysor Panel Systems is the leading manufacturer of walk-in coolers and freezers in America.

Following several years of higher-than-anticipated growth, Kysor Panel Systems needed more manufacturing space than their existing facility provided. They chose to locate their new building in northwest Fort Worth Texas, with developer Mercantile Partners. Bob Moore Construction was picked as the general contractor. Pross Design Group was the architect on the project.

The resulting 182,482 SF building now serves as Kysor Panel Systems' north Texas office, manufacturing and distribution center. It includes 32,000 SF of office, meeting and break room space, with 117,000 SF of space dedicated to manufacturing and 33,000 SF for warehouse and distribution facilities. The building was constructed using tilt-up construction.

"We chose Bob Moore Construction because they have a reputation for building quality buildings, on time," said David Frase, President of Kysor Panel Systems. "Bob Moore Construction met our high expectations. You couldn't ask for better project management on a project. Steve Barrons and David Splawn did a great job. The building was finished seven days early, and there have been very few matters to address after we moved in; that has been a big deal for us."

"We enjoyed the opportunity to work with David Frase and Marion Brown from Kysor Panel Systems and to build for such a highly regarded company in its industry," said Ed McGuire, Vice President of Construction for Bob Moore Construction. "Working with Barbara Fife and Mercantile Partners is always a pleasure. The relationship we have built with them over the years allows us to work through issues that arise in any construction project, create solutions and deliver a quality final product."

The Kysor Panel Systems office, manufacturing and distribution center is part of the Mercantile Center industrial park in north Fort Worth, Texas, owned by Mercantile Partners. This building is the 25th construction project Bob Moore Construction has completed for Mercantile Partners in a successful business relationship spanning 15 years.

“We enjoy a tremendous business relationship with Mercantile Partners,” said Phillip Bell, President of Bob Moore Construction, “and we can take great pride in the role we’ve played in Mercantile Center’s growth since 1991. Over the years we have worked closely with Barbara Fife, Hal Hardester and the rest of the professionals with Mercantile. Their leadership, active involvement and clear vision for what they need have helped us to deliver a successful construction project every time.”

"Bob Moore Construction approaches every project as a team member, and is a valuable contributor in reaching positive solutions to issues as they arise during the course of a project," said Barbara Fife, Vice President - Development for Mercantile Partners. "These attributes, as well as their ability to contribute in the early design stages of a project or build-to-suit facility, have been instrumental in the long-standing relationship between Bob Moore Construction and Mercantile. I have personally worked with the Bob Moore Construction Team for 15 years and find them to be professional and knowledgeable in the construction / development needs of a project. They understand the high standards of quality that Mercantile requires in its buildings."
