Exploring Color and Light: Recent Paintings by Peg Bachenheimer and Lolette Guthrie opens the last week of August at the Hillsborough Gallery of Arts. The show pairs two painters whose work captures the light and color in nature.

The Movement for Contemporary Art (MAC-Lisboa) gave away their 15th Art and Culture Awards, last week, during a ceremony held in Lisbon.
