From 1st till 12th of October Calpe is celebrating its 22nd Oktoberfest organized by the Carnival Club Calpe. The also called "Fiesta Alemana de la Cerveza" in Calpe is the most famous festival of that kind, celebrated in Spain.

In October the Casa de Cultura in Calpe is hosting a live show to pay homage to the music from the movies of Hollywood.

Friday 27th February 2009 will see the first performance from Sounds Familiar at the Casa de Cultura in Calpe at 8pm. The show, also entitled“Sounds Familiar, includes a variety of numbers from pop culture from the 60´s to today plus show songs.
