Property prices in Tenerife have fallen in the last six months, by 3,48% in the South of Tenerife, by 2,64% in the north of Tenerife, and by 3,37% in the metropolitan area including the capital Santa Cruz de Tenerife

There are still some cheap areas for property in Tenerife, well below the average cost per square metre for the island as a whole

The South of Tenerife has the highest costs of property based upon costs per square metre (in euros). The metropolitan region of Santa Cruz and La Lagauna is second, with the north of the island of Tenerife being the cheapest.
