December 4th 2009 Rainsong Animal Sanctuary (www.costaricaanimals.org) with the help of Green Wave (www.inspiringwavesofchange.org) will hold the 1st Children's Environmental Awareness Holiday Party for the public school kids of Cobano, Costa Rica.

On January 8th 2009, the region centered on Poas Volcano in Central Costa Rica suffered a large earthquake. Heavy damage resulted from the initial shocks and the resulting landslides. In response, we have donated 100 meals tot the relief effort.
