Dr. Naseer Homoud said that the FAO estimate on world hunger is alarming and an eye opener for all social and humanitarian organizations to know what actually are being done to stop annihilation of humanity.

The delegation is visiting Qatar on the invitation of IIMSAM’s Director (Middle East) and Goodwill Ambassador Dr. Naseer Shahir Homoud. During the official trip, the officials will visit to a number of organizations.

Dr. Naseer Homoud said that the efforts taken by Her Majesty through this noble assignment of ‘Ahle Himmah’ is apparently serving the basic objectives of United Nations Millennium Developmental Goals.

Wishing all success to Manuel Chaves, IIMSAM’s official also expressed confidence that the friendly relations between the Middle East and the Spain will be further strengthened.

IIMSAM official said that the enthusiastic support demonstrated by the American people during Obama’s election reflects their desire to see the change. He further expressed the best wishes for Obama's health and happiness and for the peace.

Dr. Naseer Shahir Homoud was felicitated recently in a glittering ceremony organized at Jerusalem International Hotel in Amman amongst packed auditorium with prominent personalities, intellectuals, scribes and his well- wishers among others.

Dr. Homoud said the His Majesty’s visit would positively evolve Qatar- Jordan relationship at climax which was indeed for the interest of the citizens of two nations.

IIMSAM Goodwill Ambassador appealed to all Government, celebrities, NGOs and other organisations of the world to come forward with their active and sincere participations to implement UN objectives of solving children problems.

Dr. Naseer Shahir homoud said that a series of talks held at Emiri Diwan chaired by H.E. the Prime Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabor al Thani and Jordan's Prime Minister Nader al Dahab will add new dimensions in mutual relations.

Dr. Naseer S Homoud has called upon the international community to render full support and cooperation to strengthen and democratize the UN to make it more effective.
