Kevin Waida wins fantasy league

Grad student makes big bucks using data and analytics in high stakes fantasy football league

LONGMONT, Colo. - Jan. 7, 2016 - PRLog -- After a long fantasy season, only one team could emerge victorious. Kevin Waida's Team Win handled the Honey Badger in week 16 in a 146-112 blowout to hand him his second consecutive title in that league.

Kevin made some staggeringly impressive moves throughout the season, obtaining both Odell Beckham Jr. and Adrian Peterson in a fascinatingly bold season for the fantasy sharp. Kevin now hopes to take his skill into the playffs to win more money.

The grand prize for winning the fantasy league, based out of  Columbia Missouri. was 125$ in addtion to already accumulated prizes from earlier in the season.

Kevin Waida did make some gaffs though, trading away Antonio Brown and some other valuable players, including giving away Mark Ingram for Jeremy Hill. Kevin justified startegy, claiming he was playing the "long game", but the efforts were fruitless as Ingram continued to excel while Hill found himself locked in the fantasy cellar for most of the year. A season opening blunder cost him the like of LeSean McCoy, Doug Martin, Arian Foster and Carson Palmer, netting only Randall Cobb, Dez Bryant and Eli Manning and Alfred Morris
