Credit Bureau Systems acquires Fidelis

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Jan. 4, 2016 - PRLog -- Credit Bureau Systems, Inc. (CBS) has acquired the business of Fidelis EMS Billing, LLC (Fidelis).  All servicing will be conducted by CBS’ Ambulance Medical Billing division (AMB), an industry leader in ambulance and emergency medical services billing and collections.  It will be AMB’s second fiscal 2015 acquisition and solidifies their ranking as one of the largest specialty billing companies nationally.

AMB will assume contract responsibilities as of January, while Fidelis will assist clients in transitioning services.  “We’ve learned through previous acquisitions, that organizational alignment helps make the transition seamless,” said Mark Edwards, President & CEO of CBS.  “This expands our footprint to 23 states and that number is growing.  We’re excited about 2016 and beyond,” added Bill Harrod, Executive Director of AMB.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.  CBS was represented by Jones, Cork & Miller LLP, while Fidelis was represented by C.E. Spillman & Partners, LLP.
