Resinate Materials Group Welcomes Kris Weigal as Chief Commercial Officer

PLYMOUTH, Mich. - Dec. 9, 2015 - PRLog -- Resinate Materials Group, a company advancing the use of recycled content in specialty polyols, is pleased to welcome Kris Weigal as Chief Commercial Officer and Business Director.  In this role, Ms. Weigal will be responsible for directing marketing strategy, supply chain and financial activities for Resinate’s specialty polyols business.

With over 29 years of operations, sales and marketing leadership roles in the chemical and peripheral industries, Ms. Weigal brings insight to business strategy for both petro-based and renewable specialty chemical companies.

Prior to joining Resinate, Ms. Weigal held a number of key roles at CHEMCENTRAL/Univar, including VP of Corporate Business Development and VP of Strategic Planning. She also served on the Board of Directors at Continental Chemicals LLC. At Nanophase Technologies Corporation, she executed market strategies resulting in product development and commercialization of nanotechnology products for coatings, plastics, batteries and polishing industries.

Most recently, Ms. Weigal held the position of VP Business Development at BioAmber Inc., leading the sales and commercial activities for North and South America.

Ms. Weigal has a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Business from University of Wisconsin Eau Claire and a MBA in Operation and Production Management from University of Wisconsin Whitewater.  She serves on the Board of Directors for Chicago Paint and Coatings Association.
