MaClay Healthcare Center Sold to Independence Healthcare Management

Dec. 7, 2015 - PRLog -- MaClay Healthcare Center was sold to Independence Healthcare Management - a private Los Angeles-based owner operator who has acquired two additional facilities in the last year - for $14,400,000.  MaClay Healthcare Center has been operated by Lifehouse Healthcare Services, the company had operated nine total skilled nursing communities throughout California. The acquisition of Independent Healthcare Management of MaClay officially closed on Friday, October 30th, 2015 and was facilitated by Shep Roylance of JCH Senior Housing Group. The deal itself was a one-off sale and was just one of several moves Lifehouse is making to diversify their entire California skilled nursing portfolio. All the facilities within Lifehouse’s current portfolio are strategically located throughout Northern and Southern California, however, MaClay was the only establishment located in Los Angeles county.

Located in Sylmar, California, MaClay is a 175-bed facility situated on nearly six acres of property. The impressive skilled nursing facility has specialized in pulmonary TCU and also boasts a well-respected stroke program. Some of MaClay’s additional features include a beauty/barber shop, cozy lounges, outdoor patios and courtyards, a 24-hour licensed registered nurse (RN presence, infusion therapy, personalized care plans, social services, and a range of rehabilitation services.
