Follow on Google News | Video Marketing has a New VoiceThe Video Marketing Revolution is Here and it’s changing out we do business. As leaders in the world of video marketing production & strategy, we at Thinkmojo felt that there was a void of relevant audio content that highlighted this new paradigm.
By: Thinkmojo Inc. Created by Thinkmojo, a premier Silicon Valley-based video marketing and production studio, the podcast provides listeners with an inside look at the world of video marketing from a wide range of industry experts. Hosted by Joel Goobich, Thinkmojo’s director of business development, and Brendan Carty, the studio’s head writer, the Video Marketing 2.0 podcast was designed to give voice to a booming industry. “Four years ago, video marketing was a niche thing that only the hip brands were doing,” said co-host Joel Goobich. “But after seeing how effective video can be, more and more brands have jumped on the bandwagon, and with good reason.” Despite this incredible growth, however, few companies seemed to understand how to run a successful video marketing campaign. “There was a big knowledge gap,” said co-host Brendan Carty. “You had a ton of entrepreneurs and marketers who knew they needed good video content but didn’t know how to create or use it. It was like they could taste the dish but couldn’t make it themselves.” To fill that knowledge gap, Goobich and Carty launched the Video Marketing 2.0 podcast in August 2015. Each week, they focus on a range of industry-related topics, providing useful tips on how to create, distribute, and track the success of marketing videos, whether on the web, social media, broadcast, or otherwise. The program also features an impressive array of guests from around the video marketing world, each one offering their own perspective on the current state and future prospects of video marketing. The podcast has already been well-received. It was featured on the iTunes New and Noteworthy list, climbing as high as #12 in the Business section in mid-November. But for Goobich and Carty, the goal isn’t notoriety. It’s knowledge. “We measure the success of our podcast by the work it inspires,” said Carty. “If people listen and then go out and make great video content, we’ve done our job.” All episodes of the Video Marketing 2.0 podcast can be downloaded or streamed from iTunes, Stitcher Radio, Tunein, GooglePlay and Soundcloud as well as from the podcast’s website, http://www.videomarketing20.net.
