Sacred Heart School names Miranda Raine as Social Studies Instructor

KINGSTON, Mass. - Dec. 1, 2015 - PRLog -- Sacred Heart School (www.sacredheartkingston.com), a private, Catholic, co-educational school for students in preschool through grade 12, today announced that Miranda Raine has joined the faculty as a Social Studies instructor.

As such, Raine will teach classes in 8^th grade World Cultures; 11^th grade AP U.S. History; and 12^th grade Honors Economics.

Prior to joining Sacred Heart, Raine was with San Gabriel Mission High School in San Gabriel, California where she taught AP U.S. Government & Policies, World History, Government/Economics and Religion.

Originally from Shelton, Connecticut, Raine graduated from Assumption College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Honors Certificate in Foundations of Western Civilization.  She went on to receive her Masters in Special Education from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.

Raine is a member of the Education Honor Society Kappa Delta Pi and the National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA).

She was a volunteer with PLACE Corps (Partners in Los Angeles Catholic Education), a nationally recognized teaching service corps in partnership with the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and the University of Notre Dame.

Raine is engaged to be married; in her spare time she enjoys playing basketball and soccer and likes to travel.
